Heart of A warrior
Re-releasing on Amazon September 30th!
It’s going to be one of those days…
Empathic healer and business owner, Dora Alexander decided to take a mini vacation to celebrate her 25th birthday by exploring the stalagmites and stalactites in Kartchner Caverns. Nerdy? Maybe, but you do you, right? Things take a nasty turn when an earthquake rocks the cave into complete darkness, with her trapped inside. Searching for a way out, she accidently awakens an immortal warrior who’s kind of cranky after his 100-year nap. Wouldn’t you be?
Philoctetes, one of Demeter’s immortal Gold warriors, wakes up to the grating sound of a female wailing. Thinking she’s one of the Silver Demons he’s sworn to hunt down and destroy, he almost kills her before realizing she’s human. Correction. Turns out she’s not just human. She’s the one responsible for sending his kind to hell and causing woe and misery for the entire human race.
Dora never asked to be Pandora reborn. And she certainly didn’t ask to be paired up with an insanely hot immortal demon hunter on a mission to save the world and redeem them both. But The Fates seem to have their own ideas. Including the fact that, if she and said hot demon hunter consummate the inferno like attraction raging between them, they’ll simply cease to exist with any memory of their time on earth erased.
Oh goody, the day just got worse.

“I breezed through Gold: Heart of a Warrior by Eden Robins. This is one of those fun, highly readable romances that sweeps you right in. I recommend if you enjoy well written, steamy romance laced with Greek mythology. This is book 1 in a series.” -The Bookworm
“It’s the kind of book you’ll take on a plane, and then wish you were alone reading it! So much delicious tension building throughout… a goddess who doesn’t yet know her own strength meets a warrior who knows his, and must protect what he is growing to love. Indulge!” -Amazon Reader
“The plot moves quickly, but a sense of suspense kept me engaged throughout. In fact, the suspense is whether or not Dora and Phil will achieve success against the Silvers, but also what they will do about their outlawed attraction for each other. I was surprised by a cliffhanger ending, and then I realized that this is the first in the Gold series planned by Robins. I can’t wait for book 2!” -Amazon Reader
“The narrative skillfully navigates between contemporary elements and the complexities of Greek mythology. The plot’s swift pace is complemented by suspense, maintaining engagement as the characters face challenges from both the Silvers and their forbidden connection. Robins effectively contrasts the ordinary and the divine, making each plot event and character trait believable and relatable. The cliffhanger ending left me wanting more. “Heart of a Warrior” is a compelling start for a series, promising readers an intriguing blend of romance, mythology, and suspense.” -Amazon Reader

Maybe life really is good.
Relatively speaking, of course.
Dora never asked to be Pandora reborn. After all, carrying around that kind of baggage is no walk in the park. But if a girl can get a reprieve from serving an eternity-long sentence in the underworld by fighting demons on the earthly realm alongside one of Demeter’s hotter-than-July immortal gold warriors, anything’s possible, am I right?
As a cherry on top of her now nuttier-than-a-circus life, Ares, god of war, has shown up in all his bad boy hotness, claiming she owes him the kind of favor that could send her back to hell faster than a moth to a flame.
Thank the goddess for friends. Having Nemeretes and Persephone at her side, as well as a motley crew of more-than-they-seem immortal misfits determined to help her fight the baddies gives her hope for another day.
Who knows?
Perhaps this second-chance-thing might just work.
